|Social events and clubs
Social gatherings are limited within the accommodation out of respect to neighbours. However, there is a popular café in town run by Yasar, of Turkish origin, who provides great hospitality for all visitors and often has live music playing. In addition there are pubs, bars and restaurants nearby and one or two night clubs in neighbouring towns.
The farm has one or two social events each year. There are many clubs and organisations in town, details of which are kept in the accommodation, as well as a small sports centre with a well-equipped gym. English Classes are held weekly during the evening which give staff an opportunity to improve their conversational English or to take Cambridge exams. Those wishing to progress at work are encouraged to attend these weekly lessons in order to improve communications at work where everyone is expected to speak in English.
